Delicious Popped Amaranth Treats. We first encountered a version of these popped amaranth treats while on an ecotour in the Riviera Maya. After lunch in a little Mayan village, we tasted these for dessert and just fell in love. Traditionally made with honey and molasses, we have been experimenting with our own creations since that fateful trip.

For our binder we kept the honey but added a little bit of marshmallow. From there we let our imagination run wild. So many flavors to try, there is one for every palette. Try them all, and let us know which are your favorite!
